This policy explains how John Lion LLC ("we", "us") handles information in our iPhone apps: Time Flies, Meep, XAELO BOX and Bearings. Our approach is simple: keep your information on your device whenever we can, collect as little as possible, and never sell it.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your personal information.
• We don't use advertising trackers or show third-party ads.
• We don't track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Time Flies

With your permission, Time Flies reads your Photos library to help you sort and post photos and videos. Sorting and image analysis happen on your iPhone. Your photos and videos are not uploaded to us. If you turn on calendar sync or reminders, the app adds events to your calendar and schedules notifications on your device. Your categories, captions and settings are stored on your device.

Meep

Meep stores your study progress, notes, journal entries and settings on your device. Meep is not meant for patient information, so please don't enter it.

XAELO BOX

If you create an account, we store your account details (such as your email address) and the data you choose to sync with our cloud provider, Supabase, so you can sign in and keep your data across devices. Recordings, files and other data you keep only on your device stay there. When you look up public information in the app, such as music charts, news or dictionary entries, the app requests it from those public services. Those requests don't include your personal information.

Bearings

Bearings stores your check-ins, journal entries and settings on your device. It may download public content, such as news headlines, to show you.

Permissions

Our apps ask before using your Photos, camera, microphone, calendar or notifications, and only use them for the feature you're using. You can change these permissions any time in your iPhone's Settings.

Children

Our apps are not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.

Your choices

You can delete on-device data by deleting the app. To have XAELO BOX account data deleted, delete your account in the app or email us.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date above.
